Yes, Yes I believe I can argue that point.
No, I do not believe it fits correctly into a Biblical model or world view when presented in that particular way.
Sure, God can forgive it but why waste your time, energy, blessings and impact on those around you just because you think it might feel good or you might be admired by a few folk if you do?
Is the cost worth the gain? (yeah right, WHAT gain??) So does this mean that when God said you would be different, a new creature, if you accepted His free gift, that it meant everything but this?
Look, you know what is true, you know what is honest, you know what is just, you know what is pure, you know what is lovely, you know what brings a good report, you know what has virtue, so why not think on those things? Why not do the right?
Think of it this way:
IF I do this it means I only have to slap Jesus in the face and spit on Him and His amazing grace How Many times?

Maybe I should file this under the category of conversations with christians (yes, little c) I have talked to about their open sin.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
