I Know That You Know
You know, that I Lord, have done it again
I know, that you Lord, knew just when
You knew, that I Lord, had fallen in Sin
I know, that you Lord, have forgiven again
Jesus does not wonder when I fall
For He has planned to recover me
His Word says His thoughts were for my good
While He was bleeding on Calvary’s tree
There’s not a moment His love is short
Why did I follow such a selfish path
His loving arms wrap and draw me close
By God’s Grace I’m saved from His wrath

It’s not because I remembered and prayed
That allows me to kneel before your face
For you’ve chosen before the world began
To pour out on me great mercy and grace
The pain of failing is more than I can bear
So when the time comes for my last day
And I’m rising to stand before His throne
