The hand of Jesus directs our ways.
We struggle with sorrows all of our days.
We look for treasures with an earthly gaze.
And bow before Heaven in Spiritual praise.
A life of pleasure is what we seek.
With joy and blessings at Jesus’ feet;
No trials nor sorrows we want to meet.
For such trying things make our eyes leak.
Job had some trials, that seemed really bad.
His heart was crushed and horribly sad.
For though He had been a perfect dad,
God’s desire was to re-bless all he had.
The tears of Job’s heart, openly flowed.
That he had done right was all he showed.
And when in his life an evil wind blowed,
God’s way was pure and new blessings bestowed.
He wipes away all their tears, ‘tis true.
The towel in Jesus’ hand makes all things new.
Our Holy washed feet are far more than we’re due.
And trials are come, to show others, the real you.
You are much more, than words portray.
Is not your heart His since that day?
When you said, “Jesus is my only way,
Though death should come, still I’ll obey”.
The song in your heart is written by Him.
No power on earth can sever nor thin.
Jesus within is the victory over sin.
The towel is there, to start once again.
He’s in the trials and knows your pain.
He sees the tears, when it seems insane.
Then He brings forth the towel to proclaim
“All for His Glory and your great gain”
