The Problem We Have

The problem we have is that we admire the abdominal. We’re arrogant instead of aghast.

We’re backward in beliefs and borrow bitterness.

We create confusion because we’re confused about creation.

We deny deity and desire the deadly.

We echo our ego and evade excellence.

We fear the fruitful and follow the false.

We glorify goodness and only glance at Godliness.

We have to hold and hoard what we shouldn’t have.

We insist on immediate indulgence and are ignorant of our ignorance.

We justify our jocularity and jokingly call it justice.

We kidnap kingdoms and call killing kindness.

We love to lust. We laugh at the lewd.

We master minutia and minimize mastery.

We offend openly and oppose omnipotence.

We pause when we should pray. We pray only to please us. What’s our problem?

We quell honest questions and quit quietness.

We reject righteousness and Resist Right Reasoning.

We scoff at the strong. We remain silent when we should speak up.

We trust in treacherous trite. We’re very thoughtless in our thinking.

We usurp unrelentingly and belief our own unique understandings.

We vanquish the victorious and validate verbal abuse.

What if we were to woo the wonderful or wonder at the Wooer?

We exonerate evil axioms and excel at excuses.

We yield to evil yearnings and yearn only for mire yield.

We zap with zingers while our zeal impacts zero.
