Not Today. Unless the Lord Jesus, the Christ of Father God raptures out His church today, it is not going to get done today. The world’s problems are not going away; sorrow and sickness and the ridiculous tragedy of people choosing to know to do good and do it not will not go away. So it is what we are left to deal with.
When they can, people will argue against the Word of God. Not just whether it is right or wrong as it applies to them personally, but whether or not it is real. Some have argued that it is actually a secret plot written just a few hundred years ago and all the ancient evidences discovered since were planted there long after the fact or inserted into the location when other artifacts were unearthed.
We would define sanity as the normal, natural unbiased acceptance of truth and circumstances as reality and the ability to make rational decisions within that understanding. For a lot of people in our world’s seven billion plus population today it is enough. But for a vocal minority with the means to project themselves as an influence over others they choose to impose their own reality with their own perverted form of sanity. Perverted because deviates from the standard by which all life and understanding is measured. And therein lies the rub. If you do not accept God’s perspective as the basis and standard for sanity then whatever you choose (and I mean WHATEVER!) is an acceptable norm for you; not real, not right but acceptable.
There is one God and creator of all who has left us His love letters to ensure our understanding of reality and sanity. All morality, laws and standards for acceptable living are based upon understanding what He has written. In our societies we often obtain guarantees for devices or situations that we use or participate in. We appeal to those guarantees when it appears to us that a deviation from our expectations has occurred. If we have performed within the criteria of the written guarantee then our grievance is heard and resolved favorably. However if we choose to not agree with the terms and conditions written down in document, then we will receive a different result. It is akin to competing for a prize and then being discovered for violating the terms of the contest. No prize will be awarded and your participation will be voided. It does not matter to the authors of the documents what you think they meant to say. It matters not what your intentions were. What they have written is the only balance which will be used to judge between right and wrong.
This analogy is plain and clear. If you chose to fantasize that Jesus Christ is not God, did not cause men to write exactly what He intended in His Bible, did not die on the cross of Calvary according to the prophesies of the scriptures and die not raise alive again from the grave three days later, that is your choice. When He applies the guarantee of the Scriptures to judge the days of your life, your understanding will be adjusted. Live for Christ or die in vain. It really is that simple. If you will not hear Him out, you will not make a sane rational decision because you only have part of the information and will violate the terms of the agreement that gave your physical life in this world. To properly explore this thought will take far more time than you are willing to give me on this page. You choose; your fantasy or His reality.
Just to be clear, I accept everything in the Bible as the basis for reality and sanity. Just because some folks cannot explain the recorded events sufficiently to be acceptable in their framework of societal norm does not negate them.
