Still Jesus

After Christmas celebration has died down, we can count
what is right and good and important.

When the music stops and the lights are gone,
As you face the day and approaching dawn
The people drift off; you are left alone
When your tears have dried and your praise a moan

You see all you’ve had, is taken away
There are no treasures, left to hold astray
The power the love, He sends from within
Breaks through all doubting, and begins again

You are still Jesus, my Savior and Lord
When I lift prayers, I’m never ignored
You are why I came, my only reward
You are still Jesus, You are still my Lord
