I KNOW Him!

I know that God never leaves me. David wrote in the One Hundred Thirty Ninth Psalm of the presence of God regardless of our situation or place of enduring. So as He, I too endure. As I walk in the way He desires I endure the good fight of affliction with Him. And where I walk alone because I leave the path He has chosen for me then I struggle without His strength. Who am I that I should deny the Almighty Creator God of the universe? Continue reading

The Hand Who Planned

Do you ever plan a day to bring grief and sorrow
So bleak so dark with only fear for tomorrow
It saddens my heart and brings me sorrow
That I cannot fix today or know tomorrow

For if I would touch either by my hand
I’d mar all the blessings He has planned
The evil I’d seek to avoid would be in my hand
And I’d miss all the joy He has planned

No I don’t wish for untold sorrow
Nor for dark clouds in my tomorrow
Only by trusting the Healer of sorrow
Will I be blessed with a brighter tomorrow

Then if you see going forth my hand
You’ll know it’s there as He has planned
For He who created every foot and hand
Owns every praise my heart has planned

So let me now lay aside such sorrow
Seeking to obey His will for tomorrow
Great joy is mine found even in sorrow
For the holder of today holds tomorrow

I am His Child held in His hand
With no better future than He has planned
Just like the nail prints in His hand
By His grace I’ll be, just as He has Planned

We confirm we are to be “perfect” which is to say imminently mature in faith and practice. We believe the Bible. We believe the author of the Bible by whose Pneumas, that is to say Spirit, it is written.  There are no errors, no mistakes no flaws in the Bible in its original writing. It is preserved for us by His desire and power so that the truth we read today is indeed the truth He spoke into existence. Any difference from the original, any error in translation or interpretation is solely from the enemy of God and the willingly ignorant mind of man. Continue reading

What’s Next? Afterward

Perfect. That is what we are. Not in our performance, not in our thinking or perception or in our perspective. It is in Him where we are perfect. It is in Him. We only imagine perfection, even when we imagine being in His presence. “What Next?” That is the question. After we have resolved our internal conflict with our understanding of our relationships with each other and with the creator. So what happens next?   Continue reading
