2Timothy 2:3-4 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
The life of a Christian is at odds with the leisure and comfort of the World’s ways.
If there is not persecution, there is not a Godly life. >2Timothy 3:12
There is a Way Out
1Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
2Peter 2:9 The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
We do not expect to be left to figure it out on our own;(Deuteronomy 10:21)
He shows us great and wonderful things for our eyes to see.
It IS God’s Purpose
Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience;
God’s purposes are beyond our understanding many times.
It is His good pleasure to use us in them (Ephesians 1:9)
