Worth Seeing

The wind and the earthquake; the fire and the voice,
Where is the power from the one who is your choice?
You can sing and proclaim, burn for Him and His name,
But do you listen for the One who is always the same?

To stand tall, living Holy and be the example you should,
Bend down on your knees and get as low as you could.
For you looking mighty in the sight of men on this earth,
Will never show them Jesus or all they are worth.

He, went to the cross and rose from the grave,
To pay for their sins and show power to save.
All your heart declares is what He has done in you,
For He is lovely and truly worth, all you can do.

the Purpose of Participation

We participate in corporate worship and service by coming together, in one place for the singular purpose of giving glory to God.

What is the purpose of participation? To glorify God?

What is the purpose of your participation? To glorify me as I give head nod to God?

What is the purpose of your exclusive participation? To glorify me and only me while pretending to give a nod to God?

What is the purpose of your communal participation? To glorify God by sharing the responsibilities and enhancing the service and worship experience of others as they grow in grace.

I have none to waste on your ill informed opinion of my health, intelligence or personal choices. You may or may not know my designer, maker and lover of my soul. Our Present Distress…

Galatians 1:3 grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5 to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
