Jesus did not become more God when He formed me, chose me, loved me, died for me, sought me, endured me, cleansed me, restored me, planted me, grew me, unscarred me, used me, finished me, heard my praise, received my worship, or walked with me in glory. He does all of this because He IS completely without anyone or anything else GOD!

In explaining to the Pharisees, the futility of quieting the joyous celebration of His disciples, Jesus said “I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” This account is recorded in the Gospel of Luke in chapter nineteen. I don’t remember when it first struck me. I believe I had read it many times, had heard eloquent and impassioned sermons on this phrase and even knew the beautiful song Then Will the Very Rocks Cry Out. Yet at some point it dawned on me, that this will NEVER happen. There will never be a time, until the Lord returns for his people, that there will not be a joyous sound of praise found all over this world.

Your Family
One of the more enjoyable aspects of being able to know the love of God and the gifts of being able to express Him through writing is the many wonderful examples He allows me to see.
Everyone is unique. All have different skills, talents and Holy Spirit filled gifts which contribute to their demonstration of God’s love. He uses all of this to draw others to Himself so they too can be part of the symphony which is the Family Of God. Continue reading
