That’s what works best for me

Wondering how best to get through today seems to be a huge part of our thinking before we begin to play at this game of life. Pondering all the possibilities is important so we miss not a single opportunity to achieve, succeed, conquer and enjoy. Yet if all we do is think on these things then we miss the very victory we seek; Life!

Life is not a series of breathes, a number of heart beats, a series of lay me downs and wake ups. Life is the connected existence to the creator God allowing Him in us, flowing through our being, thinking and doing. It is Him thinking and doing; with us as willing participants. It is in being that we exhibit life. It is in being that we acknowledge Him. It is in being that we command attention to the performance Jesus has laid before us to participate in.

Invariably, when doubting that they are all they are or should be, one will ask, “How should I…”. The asking is not without knowing. They know how they do what they do. They know many of the possibilities could have been done differently and have probably exercised themselves mentally in the many ways to do them. I believe the undefined question is “How Best?”. How can I do what is best for me? How should I do the desire I do so I achieve the greatest return for the energy expended or the price paid? How can I know? All fair questions which are much like the glorious gift of eyesight. Many wonderful and glorious beauties enter our mind through the gift of eyesight.

We are protected, directed, and attracted through eyesight. It is a great and wonderful gift. Yet it is the curse which blinds mans vision. For often we stop at what our eyes see. Have you ever spoken to some one who claims to have seen angels? As they attempt to describe them words fail, hesitation come, uncertainty takes over. They cannot adequately describe what they have seen because they are telling you what their eyes have seen and not what their soul has seen. Yet if you were to ask a blind person who has been touched by the Lord or His angel to describe them you would be hard pressed to stop the flow of words pouring from their innermost being. No physical description would be heard.

It is not fate but faith that accomplishes. It is faith in Him. It is faith in knowing and believing that He has your best in His plan. It is by faith we trust Him to do all that He chooses in our lives. Life is in the soul’s connection with the creator based upon the promises in His Word. And without faith it is impossible to please Him. Hebrews 11:6

The quality of your life is directly tied to your faith relationship. You can’t see faith with your eyes, you have to “see” it with your heart and know it in your soul. It is the evidence, not visual evidence, yet it is the substance of your life in Him. Having faith to know that my good is His priority works best for me.
