Defining can sometimes be difficult. We describe and desire and design well. We do it in gross abstract and in minute detail. We span the gulf between with every color of the rainbow. Then in our final triumphant act we often describe it as black and white. Success is green while failure is red. True or false; black or white. We define processes, people, and productivity. We make it appear to some as though there is no ambiguity. To others we indicated that it doesn’t matter. There is no impact if there is no color therefore it is always green. Except when it is red. Then every demanding despot rises to the occasion. Define Christianity.
Defining questions limit scope. Why is it so? Why must it be? Why are these questions being asked of me? Could I have, what if I would have, did I consider if I should have? All relevant and pertinent but also deflective. Green is like being sappy in puppy love. It is safely consumed comfort food which only looks at the immediate to be satiated. The power of green remains in the present. The hope of green is fixed upon the future. The reality of green is moderated by the past. Green in the present became red in the future which is past. And so shall it be in the days yet before us. Define Holiness.
Defining expectations reveal hopes. We relish the standing we have. It did not just fall into our laps. We labored with dedicated ambition to become. We have proven and established and stand upon a firm affirmation. We partnered and leveraged with eyes set on seeking the prize. The stumbles have been aggressively strengthened. The soaring tempered with the reality of reminders. Reminders that mediocrity lurks close at hand for those who relax. Diligence, vigilance and perseverance support and defend the reputation, ensure the continuance, embody the armory of talented purveyors we are. Define the full armor.
Defining a moment tends to fall to historians. Calculating the cost is laid upon accountants. Crossing the finish line is accomplished by those who have pulled the load, embraced the cause and paid the price. Nerves of steel, a well weathered hide, and eyes set upon the goal, all to succeed, all to obtain. Hesitation is loss. Distraction is disastrous. The race is for the swift. The battle is for the strong. Victory like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We succeed in the view of those who measure what we do by what they determine is unobtainable by themselves. Define righteousness.
Defining destiny delivers. Expect it, describe it, define it, desire it, then just do it. How much can you? How high is the top? How will you be viewed? Looking up to achieve precedes looking down at accomplished. Moving past where declares there is more. Satisfied stops seeking. Being known as settles the crown but the crown does not endure forever. The next is in line. The successor rules in days not yet found. As the clouds promise rain so the doers drive definition. Defined is not yet achieved. Deliberate is not success. Direction is not a singularity. We arrive when we are past. We become the status quo when innovation ceases. Define Godliness.
Defining can sometimes be difficult. What is it that we define? A method, a mantra, a more excellent way. Is it what we define or how we are defined? Is it words or ways? Is it thoughts which are fostered in the desperation of darkness? Is it accolades accrued threw blood sweat and tears? Defining the purpose, the potential, even the path merely determines that more remains. Definers desire the difficult, question the comfortable, master the moment and anticipate that destiny will surrender. It will surrender all of its glory, all of its treasures, every achievable prize. It will surrender to those who dare to persistently, tenaciously, resolutely strive toward the undefined. Define Eternity.
