Godliness as Great Gain – There was a time when being satisfied with who you are in Christ was more rewarding than all the riches of this world. There is still a need to know His love, forgiveness and blessings as the greatest treasures achievable to mankind. All other trophies pale into nothingness when compared to one minute, no, one moment of the glory of His fellowship. There can be no higher commendation than to be known as a Godly person
1Timothy 4:8 For bodily exercise profits little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 1Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 1Timothy 6:11 But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 2Peter 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Gratitude – Can I truly be grateful to a Holy God? Every human being desires to receive the gratitude of those they have affected for good. How is it possible that we can project that gratitude toward the One who is truly worthy? Gratitude is not the same thing as glad attitude. Anyone can be glad when circumstances are pleasant. True heart felt, depth of your soul, gratefulness is our due to Him.
