Each moment we accomplish. We move forward or backward. We stay on course or get sidetracked to the right or left. There are plenty of distractions to keep chipping away at our resolve. We have desires and duties. We manage some with deft tenacity and others we struggle to keep in balance. We measure ourselves by others and others by ourselves. Feast of Famine
In our lives feasts are fun events. Families gather. Friends visit. Sharing is a major part of the joy experienced. We cook lavish meals, speak kindly to strangers and desire sweet memories to result. We find the abundance of flavors and favors and focusing on frivolities satisfying to our souls. Thanksgiving, Christmas, family reunions, birthdays and any other excuse can be a wonderful time for such celebrations. Yet there is a feast we do not desire to partake of. Defining Difficulties
Defining can sometimes be difficult. We describe and desire and design well. We do it in gross abstract and in minute detail. We span the gulf between with every color of the rainbow. Then in our final triumphant act we often describe it as black and white. Success is green while failure is red. True or false; black or white. We define processes, people, and productivity. We make it appear to some as though there is no ambiguity. To others we indicated that it doesn’t matter. There is no impact if there is no color therefore it is always green. Except when it is red. Profound Pity
Parody is usually considered a complimentary embellishment on events or people which are generally well known. It would be difficult for someone who has no frame of reference to the actual events to enjoy a spoof of them. Being primarily visual and social allows folks to not only have an interest in what is going on in the world around them but also gives them opportunity to try to fit things into their understanding of life in general and their preferences in particular.
