There is little else which needs to be said. It is the last day of this year. We have been challenged and the challenge has been well met. We are older and more experienced. Some of us are wiser. We have been a blessing to some and may have been a hindrance to others.
This year was not like any before and there will never be another like it again. In some ways that saddens me. It some ways I appreciate the security and comfort of that thought. I have said goodbye to friends who have breathed their last. I know many of you have made the same goodbyes. I, we will miss them until we meet again in heaven. My most greatful appreciation goes to the source of the website, Joshua. In whom I see so much of me in the past and so much hope for His future.
Today I have been smothered in love and relieved of responsibility. I offer praise to my Lord Jesus the Christ and give thanks for the encouragers who have spurred me beyond what I believed I was capable of.
I will bring in the new year with hope and peace. I am in the presence the world’s three greatest grand children and their tremendously blessed parents.
Jesus gets all the praise and glory and I get all the hugs and kisses. I sure hope He doesn’t feel short changed.
