Two Sides

Two sides are to every tale, vastly differing points of view.
We seldom see which is right; But more often which works for you.2sides
A mother has a child, does some right and some wrong
She’s in a situation she has endured far too long
It’s not the child’s fault, nor the man she has chosen
Yet circumstances altered and now love is frozen
If only she could have known before she ever started
Love is sometimes fickle and often half hearted
The law is twisted and bent, in someone’s favor
Is the one who suffers most, really seen as braver?

Two sides are to every tale, vastly differing points of view.
We seldom see which is right; But more often which works for you.
Those who rule are given power by mutual consent
But simple hearts soon wonder, where the trust has went
Agreed upon are the values, which have made this people strong
Yet after time such kindness sees, the right turned into wrong
The weapons meant to protect, have changed into shackles
Innocence cries out loud in sorrow, while evil only cackles
When will men who think they’re gods, admit the truth of life
That Jesus Christ alone, is sufficient to end all strife.

Two sides are to every tale, vastly differing points of view.
We seldom see which is right; But more often which works for you.
There is a day that starts one way and may end as another
Once was a time when each thought, they could trust their brother
We look upon the tragedy, played out in all the news
And think how we’ve been led, by those hiding half the clues
That he did wrong or she was right, is seldom all the story
Why is the truth we hold dear, just called an allegory
For evil hearts deny the truth of God, and say they aren’t liable
They write their own rules, and discount what’s in the Bible

Two sides are to every tale, vastly differing points of view.
We seldom see which is right; But more often which works for you.
