Words Found Here

The words found here may not be dear
To everyone who reads
For some are plain and some unclear
Depending on their needs

I’ll pen a few, that’s what I do
Though some will seem not wiser
Until the clue comes clear to you
Erupting as a geyser

The veil’s rolled back with no lack
Of clever disguises shown
A plain brown sack or maybe black
Has set a simple tone

The words found here may not be dear
If no one ever reads
For some are plain and some unclear
Compared to ancient creeds

It’s what’s inside that shows our pride
If we think we’re able
When God abides we cannot hide
So share this common table

Then for each man He has a plan
To use their lives for good
Not who’s your clan but how you ran
And was it as you should

The words found here may not be dear
Though you’re the one who reads
For some are plain and some unclear
Yet God has planted seeds
