What is wrong with America? What is wrong with America doing this?
What is wrong with America? What is wrong with doing this? What is wrong? Or perhaps a better question might be “What makes this wrong?” Is it wrong? Who gets to decide what right or wrong? Well, if you grew up in a home anything like mine, the answer was usually “Because I said so that’s why”. And usually that was good enough. You knew there were certain consequences to challenging “Because I said so”.
Let me answer a couple of the first questions first. First things first, is sometimes a novel concept. ? What is wrong with America? Nothing; America is an entity not an individual. Why does that matter? It is the individual who has the thinking mind. It is the individual who chooses. It is the like-minded individuals, who agree together, who decided to act in concert with others to represent the whole as America.
More basic than an entity, America is the demonstration of the concept that the choices of the majority of individuals is the collective desire of the whole. As long as America acts within the confines of its governing principles then nothing is wrong with America.
We have a saying used to describe the aberration of when the guiding principle is shaped by the minority and forces the majority to accept enslavement. It is called the “tail wagging the dog”. It is normal to see a dog on all four legs happily waging its tail vigorously from side to side.
It would be totally abhorrent to see a dogs tail stationary in the air and the dog being wildly swung back and forth in the air. It is unnatural, strange, even weird, and not anywhere near acceptable or normal. AS an example, if two percent of the food supply in America is tainted with botulism, do you say it is best for all the food to be tainted?
