You Know His Name

You know His name, but I see His face.
You know my shame, but I know His grace.

Blamed and condemned, told that I’m nothing.
I’ll say you’re right, and look to my King.
His eyes have no judgement, His voice holds not terror;
For He looks on the Blood and not on my error.

In Hell the rich man lifted his eyes in pain;
He had rejected Christ for earthly gain.
I deserve to be there for the sin I have done;
But in mercy and Love God sent His Son.

You know His name, but I see His face.
You know my shame, but I know His grace.

Even though you are right to say I have failed,
Who will you turn to when your last breath is exhaled?
Have you looked to the cross where He was nailed?
To find forgiveness and have your eyes unveiled.

You say you know His name, but can’t see His face.
Oh what a shame, that you don’t know His grace.
Forgiveness and mercy are found at the cross
But without knowing Jesus, All will be lost.

You know His name, but I see His face.
You know my shame, but I know His grace.
You know His name, but I see His face.
You know my shame, but I know His grace.
