If I was Wrong

It is entirely possible that as a human, I might have been wrong. On some occasions; in some ways; perhaps even most assuredly. It is not that humans intend to be incorrect in thought or deed. Yet without clearly filtering thoughts and words through heavy doses of truths and possible consequences, the opportunity remains to be Wrong.
So for the present moment I would like to unashamedly proclaim “I did’t purpose this to be so”. Which implies that I did not intend to be wrong. None the less it remains a credible outcome. And if it is so, that I was, am, may be, certainly or otherwise wrong, Then I offer my apologies and wish to correct my self for all to see.
As I ponder these thoughts, I’m remembering “The Fonz” on the TV show Happy Days. He stuttered, stumbled and stammered through eight or ten syllables trying to say the word ‘wrong’. Wrong doesn’t mean anything particularly nefarious. Wrong just indicates reality does not agree with your stated position or affirmation. Wrong shows you didn’t have all the correct information, or didn’t do a correct analysis or whatever. Good grief how long can I go on with this?
Being wrong impacts your credibility with others. Being wrong reduces the respect others have for your opinions. However the most egregious aspect of being wrong is that you then are open to ridicule, belittlement and mocking laughter.
A little self examination and confession is better than attempting to justify why wrong may have been right from a different perspective. So just face up to it, own it and move on with gleeful laughter knowing you have acquired th most common attribute of being human, you are occassionally “wrong”.
