Thinking has its advantages and I’d like to name a few. Considering the consequences and keeping your mouth shut are one and two. Wanting not to be thought a fool and respecting others help me keep thinking through. And I like being able to do higher math in my head when some folks don’t have a clue.
Then there’s always the joy of blurting out the right answer before the rest of the crew. Even when they’re talking about things that are strange, if you think on it a while you can pull one out of the blue. Sometimes a question can be a better answer and might leave them know-it-alls in a stew. I think I find if I think more than you reading is fun and writing is too.
So that is probably what I’ll just do. There’s plenty of room in this world for thinkers to accrue. Just between me and you is it doers and thinkers who are the world’s real glue? Isn’t it time that your knowledge grew? If someone regurgitates facts that seem new, how do you know if the thing rings true? Can you rest on your feelings or the respect this one’s due? Can you seek others wisdom to quell the hullaballoo? Well let me leave you with something to chew. Is a God up in heaven or one living in your heart your view?
